Nau mai, Haere mai
We are a full primary school (Year 1-8), on the picturesque east coast of New Zealand.

At Weber school, our vision is to inspire students to ‘ be the best they can be.

Our S.T.A.R values are at the centre of our learning as we encourage and support students to be striving for success, team players, active learners, and respectful. We want to learn that matters, makes a difference in learners’ lives, and is connected to meaningful, relevant and deep contexts.

We are a small, well-resourced, forward-thinking country school committed to giving all students the best education possible, where children are confident and resilient lifelong learners.

At Weber School, we believe in developing the whole child; physically, emotionally and mentally. Our rural location provides a unique opportunity for our learners to use the environment in their learning. We are an active enviro school.

Our school has a friendly environment, high expectations and wonderful support staff and community that challenge our students to achieve their full potential. We are very fortunate to have a wonderfully dedicated and dynamic team of teachers and teacher aides who strive to ensure all children receive the best possible education. We have a future-focused lens to learning and are innovative in our approaches to teaching and learning.

We see each student as an individual, with unique strengths and areas to grow and develop. Our children are curious, sensitive, reflective, agentic, caring and talented individuals who know they can learn and develop in multiple ways.

We are incredibly proud to share our school with our community and see learning as a partnership between whānau, teachers and students.
